mercury discharge lamps. LED UV based curing systems have however a number of serious benefits in which the Mercury based systems DOES NOT.

- Up to 70% lower energy use
- No warm-up time
- Very long lifetime
- Easy set-up, compact design
- Low energy use and carbon footprint
- No disposal of mercury filled lamps meaning no hazardous chemicals in the workshop
